As a Senior Frontend Generalist Engineer, you will have a versatile role in our development team, where you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality frontend solutions. What you'll be doing
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements
- Designing and developing responsive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Implementing UI components and interactions using modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback
- Optimizing web applications for performance and scalability
- Troubleshooting and debugging frontend issues
- Collaborating with UX designers to ensure a seamless user experience
- Keeping up with the latest frontend trends and best practices
- Mentoring junior developers and sharing knowledge
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Frontend Engineer or in a similar role
- C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, etc.)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development
- Understanding of web accessibility standards
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment
Preferred candidates should have a passion for frontend development and a deep understanding of user-centric design principles. Experience with backend technologies, such as Node.js or Python, is a plus. Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and experience in building accessible web applications are highly desired. Strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a collaborative mindset are valued qualities.
We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Senior Frontend Generalist Engineer. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
