As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be a key member of our data analytics team, responsible for applying advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques to drive insights and support data-driven decision-making. Your strong analytical and programming skills will be instrumental in developing predictive models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting data exploration and hypothesis testing to uncover patterns and trends
- Developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and project objectives
- Analyzing and interpreting data to generate actionable insights and recommendations
- Building and maintaining data pipelines and databases for analysis
- Presenting findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner
- Performing data validation and ensuring data accuracy and integrity
- Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning
- Mentoring and guiding junior data scientists in their professional development
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role
- C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other relevant languages
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and data visualization techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
Preferred candidates will have a track record of successfully delivering data science projects and driving business impact. They will possess experience in handling large and complex datasets and have a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and experience in the tech or finance industry would be advantageous.
We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Senior Data Scientist. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
