What you'll be doing
- Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and trends
- Developing and implementing data models and algorithms for predictive analysis
- Creating visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver insights
- Conducting statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support business initiatives
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation in data analysis workflows
- Monitoring data quality and implementing measures for data integrity and accuracy
- Staying updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior data analysts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience as a data analyst or in a similar role
- C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, or R
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective collaboration and presentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment
Preferred candidates for the role of Senior Data Analyst should have a deep understanding of data analysis principles and possess hands-on experience in manipulating and analyzing large datasets. Knowledge of machine learning techniques, data mining, or business intelligence tools is highly desired. Strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and a passion for uncovering insights through data analysis are valued qualities.
We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Senior Data Analyst. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
