As a Junior Product Designer (Remote), you will play a key role in our design team, using your creativity and understanding of functionality to design user-friendly digital products. Your work will directly impact the user experience and help shape our product direction.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborating with product managers and engineers to define and implement innovative solutions
- Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design challenges
- Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Conducting user research and evaluating user feedback
- Establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Presenting and defending designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Working with a wide range of media and using graphic design software
Requirements
- BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field
- Proven UI experience
- C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
- Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
Preferred candidates who are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills will be given preference. We're particularly interested in those who have a passion for understanding user behavior and an eye for clean and artful design.
We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Junior Product Designer (Remote). We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
