As a Fullstack Developer (MERN), you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js). We are seeking a skilled and passionate individual with expertise in both front-end and back-end development. This role requires strong technical skills, a deep understanding of web development principles, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, and develop software solutions
- Designing and implementing responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using React.js
- Developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js
- Integrating front-end and back-end components to create seamless web applications
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Conducting testing and debugging to ensure software quality and performance
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback for continuous improvement
- Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in web development
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Fullstack Developer, with expertise in the MERN stack
- C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
- Experience with React.js and state management libraries (e.g., Redux)
- Knowledge of server-side technologies such as Node.js and Express.js
- Familiarity with database systems, particularly MongoDB
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
Preferred candidates who have a strong background in full-stack development with a focus on the MERN stack. Experience with cloud platforms, deployment processes, and version control systems will be highly valued. Knowledge of front-end design principles, UX/UI concepts, and testing frameworks will also be considered advantageous. Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively will be important qualities we seek in candidates.
We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Fullstack Developer (MERN). We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
