Accounting Manager

As an Accounting Manager, you will be supervising, tracking and evaluating day-to-day activities including establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
- Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing financial reports or statements
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Determines internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation
- Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency
- Assisting other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.
- Keeping informed about the latest developments in the finance industry
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management or related field
- C1/C2 English Level proficiency (both written and spoken English)
- 5 Years of related accounting experience with 2 years of hands-on management experience
- Highly engaged in service-oriented team
- Proven ability to attract, build and retain a high-performance team
- Experience in QuickBooks (Enterprise and Online), Bill.com and other accounting tools
- Must be commitment to maintain the highest level of confidentiality with client data
- Certified Public Accountant license preferred
Preferred candidates that can lead and motivate accounting staff members and increase department accuracy and efficiency. Candidate should be analytical, detail-oriented, and honest and should possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as a strong understanding of accounting and management principles and financial legislation.
We offer a full-time, US-hours remote job, 40-hour workweek Mon-Fri, with excellent prospects for long-term growth for an ambitious experienced Accounting Manager. We can offer HMO and other benefits to Philippine candidates.
